The Sky Dancing banner headline uses a snippet from a work by artist Tashi Mannox called 'Rainbow Study'. The work is described as a" study of typical Tibetan rainbow clouds, that feature in Thanka painting, temple decoration and silk brocades". dakinikat was immediately drawn to the image when trying to find stylized Tibetan Clouds to represent Sky Dancing. It is probably because Tashi's practice is similar to her own. His updated take on the clouds that fill the collection of traditional thankas is quite special.

This new governor is nuts!
Oh aargh. Nothing is going to work in fact except reality.
Ye Gov is a bigot. He wants trans people to have no rights of any kind. Nor women. Nor anyone. He wants a Stepford Wives world.
But biology does exist. People with an obvious physical advantage muscling in on women’s sports is not any kind of fairness.
By insisting the obvious must be ignored, we’re handing this issue on a plate to the Stepford Wives jerks. Somebody coming at this from the outside sees statements that make no sense on one self-evident point, and becomes open to the idea we have no idea what we’re talking about on all points. This is a Bad Idea. Trans people can and must be supported without rejecting reality.
