All I can say is there had better be some discussion of foreign policy.

    Bernie just blew a gasket.

Kamala just brought up reproductive health care and everyone else ignored it.

I thought Warren, Booker, Harris and Klobuchar had good nights. I did not like Mayor Pete. What I really want to know is what was that awful sound marring most of the second half? Sounded like wobbly podiums or distant fireworks. It was so distracting-CNN, get your shit together.

  9. Sweet Sue says:

Tulsi Gabbard stood there and said her surprising, very good friend was Trey Gowdy? Trey Gowdy? They should have yanked her off the stage.

I was thinking that bump either does NOT want a second term or he’s even dumber than I thought he is.

    Hmmmm . . . this is interesting!

Despite condescending reactions from white candidates and Chris Hayes, Twitter was paying attention. Harris is right. Trump should not be able to endanger people’s lives on Twitter.

        Goddess, yes. Yes, yes, yes.

Harris is the only one who manages to get the attention on what a cesspit the Dump is, instead of always backing into defending some invented etiquette misstep.

Trump’s tweets are not only threatening, hateful, and untruthful, but they encourage his supporters to commit acts of violence against Democrats, women, the press, immigrants, and anyone he doesn’t like. If people can’t see that a big tech company allowing the rich and powerful to make threats is a public safety issue, they’re probably well-off white men with layers of privilege.

Good grief. O’Reilly is still around? I guess that is in the nature of used bubble gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe.

I like Beto. He may have little experience and be a bit of a flaneur, but, damn, his heart is really in the right place.

I was watching a bit of his presser. He said the retreat was “statically brilliant” . I nearly choked on my tea. Meanwhile, have you see the video of the russians taking over us bases there?

Video shows Russian-speaking man at abandoned U.S. base in Syria
“Let’s see how the Americans lived,” says the man from inside the empty base near Manbij in Aleppo

      • quixote says:

If not being an “angel” means it’s open season on getting killed, Dump’s going to get hit by lightning.

And those shots of the Russian at Manbij, exact same feel as the people scrambling up the last dangling helicopter ladder hovering over the last US building in Vietnam.

With the one difference that Vietnam was *less* of a mess than this, and the helicopter meant the beginning of people being able to put their lives back together. Not the end.

The betrayal is appalling. I feel sick. Hospitals are bombed. Doctors Without Borders has had to evacuate.
