Thursday Cartoons: Maggots

This satirical image above really does make a statement.

Watch this video, I posted it yesterday in the comments…but it is very informative:

This staffer apparently thinks the fact that “fascism” doesn’t have a clear cut definition makes its BETTER that our government is labeling anyone who is “anti-fascists” as terrorists in the 2026 US Counterterrorism Strategy that was published this week. I’d argue it’s much worse.

I’ve got some more videos from instagram, so if there is a problem with the embeds…just reload the page.

I’m going to start with some commentary on this shitshow on Fauci:

The Fauci hearing perfectly illustrated how living through a once in a century pandemic somehow made Republicans far worse on public health. God forbid we face anything like covid again during Trump 2.0. There will be no Dr Fauci around to try to talk sense to Trump.

In other news:

If those are accurate numbers… Holy shit. That’s bad.

So that arrest is just crazy…now this is just so heartbreakingly sad:

And this situation is beyond maddening:

Every time I buy groceries, it feels like I’m making a house payment instead. I think I need to expand the vegetable garden and add a few chickens and a chicken house to the backyard.

A few questions here, is Trump voting illegally in Florida? Does he go there to vote or does he cast a mail in ballot?

Trump DOJ Hands Judge Unredacted Epstein Records After Katie Phang’s Court Win

The Justice Department now says it delivered the records directly to the judge after Katie Phang successfully challenged the government’s Epstein-file redactions.

In a new filing submitted July 30, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s Justice Department notified U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan that it had complied with his July 25 order requiring the government to produce documents supporting a series of contested redactions.

According to the filing, DOJ delivered hard copies of the documents by hand to Judge Sullivan’s chambers at 2:28 p.m. Thursday.

The records are being reviewed in camera, meaning privately by the judge rather than being placed on the public docket. The step allows Sullivan himself to examine what the government has concealed and determine whether DOJ’s explanations for the redactions hold up.

The Justice Department insists they do.

“The submitted documents show that the justifications cited in Defendant’s briefing on this issue support each redaction,” government attorneys wrote.

The filing addresses 10 separate Epstein-file records identified by the court.
