Paul Ryan Makes Major Freudian Slip

Hilarious! While introducing his budget plan today, Paul Ryan unconsciously revealed his true purpose.

From The Hill:

During the unveiling of his new budget proposal, House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) made a slip of the tongue while railing against President Obama’s healthcare law.

“This is something we will not give up on because we are not going to give up on destroying the healthcare system for the American people,” Ryan accidentally said.

Here’s the clip, courtesy of DailyKos:

Bwwwwwwaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!

That put me in mind of another great Freudian slip by the master of Freudian slips, George W. Bush.

This is psychoanalytic open thread. Just kidding–it’s wide open. What are you hearing?

I agree with Paul Krugman who once said that Paul Ryan is dumb person’s idea of a smart man. I can’t figure out why any one takes him seriously.

This will follow him until the day he dies! It should be on his tombstone.

He just dug his grave over there in Big Balance Grove Cemetery…………..I can see the Boehner crying with a can of spray paint in his hand, and Mitt Romney wondering about the horror that just took place.

Hahahahaha!!!! That was too funny!!!! That slip, along with Rubio’s Big Gulp moment, will travel with them throughout their careers. How did the GOP/TP end up with such dumbcluckers as their front-men, stars, standup comics ?

    • Beata says:

Ryan is a very dim bulb, which makes him an automatic GOP presidential frontrunner in 2016.

That was followed by his post on Princess Dumbass of the Northwoods latest grift. Ryan could be her barely smarter, younger brother. They’re both certain grifters.

TPM: Senate Seeks To Avoid Confrontation Over Funding The Government

Late Monday, Sens. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), and Richard Shelby (R-AL) — the top Democrat and Republican on the Senate Appropriations Committee — introduced consensus legislation to fund the government after March 27, when its budget authority expires.

The legislation meets nearly all of the GOP’s demands. It updates defense spending protocols much more thoroughly than it modernizes domestic programs. It ignores Obama administration requests for funding for specific priorities, including $1 billion to implement the Affordable Care Act’s state-based insurance markets. And, per House Republican demands, it denies the administration’s agency heads the authority to redirect spending, in order to ease the crunch of sequestration.

In other words, it complies with House Speaker John Boehner’s edict that the Senate not make dramatic changes to the appropriations measure the House passed last week.

With all the hoopla over Obama and cuts, maybe we should give a little more thought about who is really selling us out? May not be Obama after all.

    • ANonOMouse says:

Well Damn!!!! WTF is Mikulski thinking? She’s been on my WTF list evr since her DOMA vote, cause don’t ya know she’s a sistah? She has since repented and stated publicly, like the other Dems who voted for it, including Bubba who signed it, that she was wrong. But her DOMA vote showed me that she is inclined to blink under pressure. This is a huge blink. And who talks & negotiates with Richard Shelby except Mrs. Shelby? Really.

    • ANonOMouse says:

I’m with you Ralph, I’m not totally convinced that it is Obama who’s at the root of the dismantle the compacts evil. Now the question is, if they pass it in the Senate and the House agrees, will Obama veto it since it doesn’t adequately fund the ACA? This is just wearing me out!!!!

So that’s a sideways attempt to stop the ACA?

WOOOOO!!!! Listening/Watching Big Ed, he’s giving Obama hell and pushing back on the language of compromise. Oh, what to do, what to do!
