SNAP benefits (food stamps) are ending on November 1st for 42 million Americans, many of them children, the disabled and the elderly. If people can donate foodstuffs or money to their local food banks, please do so now. Also consider becoming a “grocery buddy” to someone who is losing their SNAP benefits. A “grocery buddy” takes a person in need to the store and buys groceries for them. Or in the case of disabled and elderly people who can’t shop for themselves, the “grocery buddy” goes to the store for them and purchases what they need. Providing food for the hungry is a good way to fight fascism. The fascists want the most vulnerable to die. Do what you can to stop them from succeeding.

Very interesting to see the manuscripts of famous authors. In a lifetime far, far away, I was an archivist in the manuscript department of a rare book library. It was a fascinating job.

Several students at Loyola petitioned the Student Government Association to officially recognize a chapter of Turning Point USA on campus.
