Take a look at the list of cities…that is some huge bullshit right there…for example, in my state of Georgia:

Georgia

  • Cobb
  • DeKalb
  • Fulton
  • Gwinnett
  • Chatham
  • Bibb

Get the fuck out of here with that shit.

Something major is going to happen tonight…let’s hope we make it out okay.

I voted at 8:30 a.m., and the polls were packed! We had to accommodate voters at our Stallings Community Center from Frederick Douglas High School because it has been permanently closed. So the entire 9th ward was voting on the basketball courts in the gym today. It was so amazing! Buses are free today to get our Souls to the Polls! Every precinct was packed! The DOJ is monitoring polls here in New Orleans, per the article JJ posted. I’m not sure where they are going, but I’ll be checking the Center quite a bit today and looking for shenanigans for Black Votes Matter.

Dak, I saw on the national news that early voting by Blacks in Louisiana was breaking records. So excited for you all. I was anxious last week about the elections, but today, I feel exhilarated and strong. I voted early with no problems. Love you guys!

We broke all kinds of voting records, and still we got the same crap back. Johnson won with 58% of the vote and same with Scalise. And a very crooked woman won governor. Seriously, I think our black population is so gerrymandered into a few voting districts that it’s basically like segregation. White, evangelical or strict Catholic men rule things around here and the women enable them.

Go watch the interview. The woman is cray cray.

Lucas Tomlinson interviewed a woman waiting outside a Trump rally last week who seemed to completely merge her love for Trump with her deeply held religious beliefs. She didn’t seem to know anything about the Senate race in South Carolina but she would vote according to Trump.

Is this the woman that was all god speaks through Trump?

I tried to post it a couple days ago and instagram had taken the post down…now I tried to look at it an it wouldn’t show it to me.

No. I don’t think so … this one was just gawd is working through Trump and then basically saying anyone he supported, she would vote for

I’ve turned the TV on to the returns. We’re likely to see a few eastern states drop their information quickly. I guess Florida has a very efficient counting process, so they may be first!

Oh, and I’m watching NBC tonight. First time in a long time, no MSNOW. Just refuse to pay for access/

All the reporters are talking about the incredible turnout. Everyone is complaining about gas prices and food.

Indiana’s polls are closed. Race to watch: 5th Congressional District. It’s the northern suburbs of Indianapolis, the wealthiest district in the state. Incumbent Republican Victoria Spartz being challenged by Democrat J.D. Ford. Race expected to be close. Turnout was high. Early results show Ford with a sizable lead! He would be our first openly gay House Representative. Also Democrat Beau Bayh, son of Evan and grandson of Birch Bayh is running for Secretary of State. Lots of excitement about him.

Good news, Ford got the 5th district. Woohoo! Spartz was evil.

Bayh also won the Secretary of State.

What is that I feel, hope?

      1. dakinikat Avatar

Wonderful! The results were status quo down here no matter much the vote increased.
