The Sky Dancing banner headline uses a snippet from a work by artist Tashi Mannox called 'Rainbow Study'. The work is described as a" study of typical Tibetan rainbow clouds, that feature in Thanka painting, temple decoration and silk brocades". dakinikat was immediately drawn to the image when trying to find stylized Tibetan Clouds to represent Sky Dancing. It is probably because Tashi's practice is similar to her own. His updated take on the clouds that fill the collection of traditional thankas is quite special.

Also we are all vote-by-mail, with postmark allowed up to 8 pm today, so that means a lot of ballots don’t get counted until the next day, though this year had more early returns than usual.

Should Trump win, I’m anxious to see how quickly American’s opinion of him will change when he repeals the ACA, when he appoints SCOTUS Justices who will reverse Roe and Marriage Equality and undo what little is left of the voting rights act. When he deports 11 million undocumented workers and privatizes our public school system. The people with the most to lose are brown, black, LGBT, Millennials, Women, Seniors, the working poor. I believe we’ll say goodbye to almost all of the social safety net programs.

The media never treated Trump with the contempt and investigation he deserved. I don’t know how we fix all the things that are wrong in this country. We should never give up hope. I no longer have any contact with her and feel much less stress because of that. What she did to me was the equivalent of Trump stiffing his small-business subcontractors. It was better to cut my losses.
