The Sky Dancing banner headline uses a snippet from a work by artist Tashi Mannox called 'Rainbow Study'. The work is described as a" study of typical Tibetan rainbow clouds, that feature in Thanka painting, temple decoration and silk brocades". dakinikat was immediately drawn to the image when trying to find stylized Tibetan Clouds to represent Sky Dancing. It is probably because Tashi's practice is similar to her own. His updated take on the clouds that fill the collection of traditional thankas is quite special.

Hey, I will post the Sunday thread later. But for now…There is a forest wildfire not too far from my house, in fact it is a new fire in Ravens Cliffs on the back side of Richard Russell Hwy in White County. It apparently is racing up the back side of the mountain toward Hog Pen Gap on Richard Russell Hwy. We were just walking on this trail last Sunday.

Hillary gave a great speech in Cleveland! All about what she wants to do as President. No mention of this latest FBI letter. Just as well, she doesn’t need to go there…she can finally concentrate on a positive finish.
I wanted to share two anecdotes with you guys.
I called my mom to tell her that Comey has cleared Hills….AGAIN!
Mom is boycotting TV until it is over.
She said he was knocking on doors for Hills today and she was phone banking for Hills yesterday. Moms lives in a college town in Ohio.
She said that she talked to a bunch of Bernie Bots today, and to a person they were all on board for Hills.
Yesterday on one of her calls she heard,”Mom! Mom! It’s the Hillary people! Yes the Hillary people are on the phone right now!”
When they lady came to the phone she said, “Hello? Hell yes I’m voting for Hillary! We are going to break that damned glass ceiling and I say we make Trump’s dumb a$$ carry the hammer! I have two millennials in my house and I am taking them both to the polls.
I say we are still alive in Ohio!

I was really worried about the election and then a little ray of sunshine when I got a text from my 12 year old grand daughter who was so excited she had to share with grandma that her braces come off in three weeks!. Not a big deal to many people but its huge to Ally and this Grandma!

Just got off the phone with my mom. After I gloated to her about this FBI business, she told me “well at least I didn’t vote for trump” (I begged her not to) and proceeded to tell me she wrote in Mike Huckabee. I told her I loved her but that I would not be able to speak to her until Wednesday and hung up. Jesus ch$&@.
