First… Vote! Vote early or vote on election day and vote ANYONE but Republicans/Romney/Ryan and ilk.
Vote communist, socialist, libertarian, democrat, green, WHATEVER …
Then, take a nice relaxing, purifying, long session under the showerhead /bath … you may want to repeat some relaxing mantra that tells you that even the richest of these folks will eventually die and that there is every sign that the country will not have demographics that will even remotely be in their favor AGAIN.
Heat up or cool off your favorite relaxing drink and let your taste buds thrill you!
and then, finally, find some real religion with a lil Al Green …

I’m really tired of anything even remotely related to having to listen to ONE more right wing meme/lie.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate how much you all keep me sane. I love and appreciate each and every one of you! Tonight … fascists like Romney and Ryan are spinning in some hell realm and away from all the other wonderful things on the planet including you and me and the ones we love!!!

A patient today told me earnestly:
“I’m so concerned about Ann Romney’s health. Really, really concerned. I think it’s best for her that she doesn’t become First Lady because it would be just terrible for her health. So I’m doing everything I can to help her not be First Lady.”
I nearly foflmao, and said “Oh yes, I think it’s medically necessary that she keep her stress down. And yes it’d be terrible for her health to be First Lady. And it’d be terrible for a whole lot of other people’s health if she were First Lady.”
She started talking about Romnesia and we had a great few minutes speaking in double entendres! The laughter really helped ease my hectic day.
Laughter and humor are great medicine.
Kat, I needed this so bad. After reading about the shit that was said today, I felt like screaming!
I had to get in the tub, turn on Al Green and I am reading a book called “The Serpent and the Rainbow” which is an old book about real zombies and Haiti.
Thanks to you and the other SkyDancers for help in keeping me sane, too. This is a refuge, and a place to learn, and a place to laugh with others, and to regain resilience.
We need to meet more people like that. My son told me today that he had just about fully convinced his Fox watching inlaws that Obama was the obvious choice. Of course, they are not long term Fox’ers.
