Despite I am not leaving in the US and I am not a US citizen, I am closely following the US election campaign. So as I have been doing the same for other presidential campaign in the past.
Since I have been active in political life and even highly educated in this subject,
I look on your campaign differently than some party biased person in the US.
You have many very knowledgeable advisers around you to help you in this campaign.
However, I would like to bring to your attention one point, which arises in this campaign
and practically nobody look closely into it.
It is a point, which Mr. Obama’s side make it as an extreme important centre flash point
of their campaign – killing of bin Laden. They are trying to present this fact as a greatest
achievement of your present President in the fight against terrorism.
I am sorry, but it is pity, that nobody is paying more attention to this claim and to
present it as a false claim.
During my life I experienced time under Hitler’s and his followers rule, than under Stalin and his followers and now leaving in democracy. Therefore my view on “ideological leaders” of all kinds is based on extensive theoretical studies of various ideologies as well on practical experience leaving under their rules.
One very important fact is, that it does not matter how long a creator of and ideology
is alive. Important is, how deep his ideology is influencing various social groups.
To say, that by killing bin Laden US achieved a big victory over terrorism is false,
misleading and extremely over rated. If ideology is deeply rooted in mind of certain
social category of the population, the present existence of its creator or representative often has less enhancing affect then when he passes away and his followers are morning his dead.
We experienced that classically in the Eastern Europe with communist ideology.
The main leader of communism applied to a government functioning was Lenin.
Lenin died and his theories lived and still live up to today in mind of various type of
people and some countries like North Korea etc.
Then came Stalin who died and his ruling theories and practices had remain.
I remember, that after dead of Stalin and rulers in the Easter Europe, his follower
had been even more active and more aggressively forcing communist theories and practices than during time when rulers had been alive. They became slowly fading away by time and changed social structure by new generations.
Nobody reasonable may say that communism died after Lenin or Stalin died. Theories which they represented are still here.
Proclamation by Mr. Obama that he achieved a great victory over terrorism by killing bin Laden shows, that he absolutely does not understand the social factor of impact of any
ideology and ideological leaders on peoples mind. He does not understand the obvious fact, that US has not been in war with bin Laden, but with ideology of which he became a leader after the ideology creator – Chomeney. For followers of that ideology it does not matter if Chomeney or bin Laden is alive or not, they apply the ideology when ever they find any useful opportunity as we see it today. To talk about a small group of radicals is
underestimating the real problem. It is blinding eyes of the US people to proclaim
that the US is fighting only small groups of radicals and not to say truth that
it is fighting ideology of radical Islam and its followers.
They may kill some radicals every day. However, a new follower will emerge. It needs more and knowledgeable fight about the radical Islam theories. It needs openly naming the theories as Radical Islam and openly disclose the goals and impact of the theories on humanity.
There could be more to add to this. However, I wanted to bring to your attention
the fact, that you are missing a good opportunity to fight the false proclamation by
Mr. Obama thRat US has archived a great victory by killing bin Laden.
