Hello, I’m taking a break today. My black cat Spooky…I called her Catriona, escaped on Thursday. We saw her Friday but she ran away from me when I went to get her. Then I saw her Friday night, eating the food I leave out for the stray cats. I haven’t seen her since then. She looked so feral when I last saw her, like a totally different cat. And now that days have passed and she has been absent, I’m being to feel like she is gone.

So, today just bear with me.

I feel like if I were in a desert, I would climb a high dune…I’ve already prayed to the Moon. Eyes searching the night. My cup is full of sand.
