Sunday Political Cartoons: Freedom

Well hello, it’s another Sunday…and they seem to be passing us by, can you believe Christmas is six months from now?

I’m going to bring the cartoons to my in just a bit, first check out these two Instagram stories about Scottish World Cup fans:

It’s a shame, because they were the most interesting group of fans:

My favourite chant in the World Cup so far is definitely “Aussie boys are on a bender / Donald Trump is a sex offender” being sung over and over and over again

Thanks for this! It’s getting harder to deal with reality more and more. At least through cartoons, I feel seen.

In my history as a voter, it is rare that I refuse to vote for a woman; however, this one stands out as unsupportable by any standards.

Letlow wins GOP nod in Louisiana Senate race

Trump preemptively endorsed the congresswoman in January, saying in a post on his Truth Social “Should she decide to enter this Race, Julia Letlow has my Complete and Total Endorsement.” She made her run official later that month

The president congratulated Letlow in a Truth Social post on Saturday night, calling the outcome “great news.”

“Julia Letlow WON in Louisiana, beating conclusively a very strong and smart opponent. Congratulations to Julia. She will be a truly GREAT Senator!” Trump wrote.

Mitch McConnell has been in the hospital since June 14. 12 days later…and we ain’t heard not ONE update, except that he will not vote on anything this week. Is he…or is he not?

He’s dead. You know why? His death triggers a special election and the party doesn’t want to spend any money on a special election bc they have to defend this seat in November

Important Sunday Update: Trump Takes Over Federal Websites to Track Your Data, Trump Family Inks Another Deal, Iran Ceasefire, More

Trump Redesigns Federal Websites to Track Your Data:

    • A new investigation by The Guardian, which it says corroborates and expands on earlier reporting by the Drey Dossier, examines the Trump administration’s National Design Studio (NDS), a White House office created in 2025 and staffed largely by former DOGE employees under Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia. According to the reporting, the NDS has quietly taken over or rebuilt several high-profile federal websites, including ones related to passports, prescription drug pricing, children’s savings accounts, and voter registration. The investigation says these sites are operated through infrastructure controlled by the White House rather than the agencies that traditionally oversee them. It also reports that little public information exists about the office’s funding, staffing, or contracting.
    • The Guardian reports that its review of the websites’ source code found commercial visitor-tracking software, including PostHog, embedded on multiple government sites, along with custom monitoring code that allegedly collected user activity. Privacy experts quoted in the story argue the tracking may conflict with federal privacy requirements because required public disclosures and privacy assessments were not posted. The White House told The Guardian that National Design Studio personnel comply with all legal requirements, and the article notes that some tracking code was removed after the newspaper asked detailed questions. The investigation raises concerns from privacy advocates that these practices could erode public trust in government digital services.
    • The investigation also focuses on the National Design Studio’s reported work on a White House-controlled version of Vote.gov, as well as passport and Login.gov-related systems. Critics worry that moving these services under White House infrastructure could centralize access to sensitive personal and voter registration data that has traditionally been managed by independent agencies. Election officials and privacy advocates interviewed expressed concerns about transparency, oversight, and compliance with existing laws governing federal digital services. The White House did not directly address many of the specific allegations beyond stating that the office operates within legal requirements.

I know the list is endless but I genuinely think trashing the legitimate congressionally chartered org for celebrating the 250th to instead hijack our national assets and taxpayer funds for his personality cult grifter crap should, in and of itself, be fully sufficient to merit removal from office.
