Tuesday Cartoons

Hey everyone. Last week my daughter had a seizure…when we took her to the ER, and they did a cat scan, the doctor found a arachnoid cyst in her brain. Needless to say, we are in a nervous state right now. Her doctor appointment is this coming Thursday. So just bear with me on these post here. I was super sick and now I’m super distracted.

Let me say, with this latest decision from SCOTUS, I am utterly speechless. It is now fully apparent to me that this fucking coup is complete.

This is an open thread.

After being fired for giving the finger to Trump motorcade, Julie Briskman decided to run for office and defeated the GOP candidate. She was sworn in a few days ago, and she is now on the local board that oversees laws for recreational facilities in a county that includes Trump National Golf Club.

Hope everything is getting better with Bebe! The market continues to meltdown. I thought Republicans were all free markets. No one seems to be able to talk Trump down from this disastrous decision. Not even his donors and Musk.

“President Donald Trump’s severe tariffs against virtually all U.S. trading partners continued to roil world markets on Monday.

Asked if he would be open to pausing the tariffs to allow for negotiations, Trump responded, “We’re not looking at that.” Trump said the U.S. has “many, many, countries that are coming to negotiate deals with us.”

Earlier Monday, Trump threatened to veto a bipartisan bill introduced in the Senate last week that would require congressional approval of any tariffs the president would seek to impose. He also threatened to impose additional tariffs on China for retaliatory measures it took after Trump announced his plans last week.

A senior White House official told ABC News that this would be in addition to the 34% reciprocal tariff Trump announced last week and the 20% already in place, making for a potential total of 104%.”

Be prepared for all kinds of things to be either crazy expensive of not even available.
