President Obama Wins Reelection, but Romney Won’t Concede Ohio Yet

MSNBC is reporting that although every network has called Ohio for Obama, the Romney campaign refuses to concede that they have lost Ohio. Chris Matthews just said that Donald Trump is calling for revolution. I hate to think about the craziness we are going to see from Republicans in the days ahead. But thank goodness the danger of a Romney presidency is over.

Here’s a fresh thread to discuss what’s happening.

Obama is probably going to win Florida, and then Romney will have to concede.

You know … every one is waiting for Romney to concede and he’s sitting some where in a suite absolutely refusing to face reality and the music. Didn’t you just know it would end like this?

Maybe he’s waiting to discuss things with Clint Eastwood and the chair. Or maybe the fat meatloaf needs to sing off key or something …

I don’t think this is surprising. I just hope the Ohio call isn’t like the early call of Florida, that changed several times until the networks finally threw in the towel. I don’t think Romney will be giving a concession speech until tomorrow at the earliest. I kinda think this was inevitable. Why would we expect this to be easy, for the Mittens Torturemobile to grind to a stop now? We do, after all, still have some blood left in our veins.

MSNBC is saying the same – even Steve Schmidt. They expect to add Nevada & there are still Florida & Virginia to weigh in on this. If Obama solidly gets those, Ohio won’t matter.

As this was happening the other electoral votes were piling up to the point where Ohio didn’t even matter anymore. At this point Rove seems to still be working on founding the Ohio Truth movement. So I’m not sure where this is going to go. We’ll try to get you a full read out on this shortly.

What happened to “Democrats for Romney”???

I thought all those pseudo I-was-a-Liberal-until-Obama-came-along were going to give the election to Romney.

So…listened to the re-elect speech, delivered with force, but he must hold some sort of a record for the number of platitudes strung together at one podium. its the next day and now we must live with the better of 2 choices.

Here’s the latest I saw on West from a tv station down there:

    US House District 18 — 303 of 306 precincts reporting (99%)
    Allen West, GOP (i) [(R)] [I] 157,578 50%
    Patrick Murphy, Dem [(D)] 159,959 50%

I bet the missing 1% is Palm Beach county. 😉
