President Obama Wins Reelection, but Romney Won’t Concede Ohio Yet

MSNBC is reporting that although every network has called Ohio for Obama, the Romney campaign refuses to concede that they have lost Ohio. Chris Matthews just said that Donald Trump is calling for revolution. I hate to think about the craziness we are going to see from Republicans in the days ahead. But thank goodness the danger of a Romney presidency is over.

Obama is probably going to win Florida, and then Romney will have to concede.

Fox right now has 290 for Obama and MSNBC has 284, that is funny to see.
Unmitigated hubris! He just knew he was going to win and only wrote a winning speech, not one for losing. So glad this weirdo was not elected. I bed he soiled his magic underwear.
He was prepared to fight the results in Ohio and Florida and then it became apparent that those states wouldn’t help him. Hubris is correct.

I don’t think this is surprising. I just hope the Ohio call isn’t like the early call of Florida, that changed several times until the networks finally threw in the towel. I don’t think Romney will be giving a concession speech until tomorrow at the earliest. I kinda think this was inevitable. Why would we expect this to be easy, for the Mittens Torturemobile to grind to a stop now? We do, after all, still have some blood left in our veins.

MSNBC is saying the same – even Steve Schmidt. They expect to add Nevada & there are still Florida & Virginia to weigh in on this. If Obama solidly gets those, Ohio won’t matter.
Obama just won Colorado.
CBS says he has Nevada. If he wins FL or VA, he has no need for Ohio. He may not need it now with Colorado.
Like you, this is what I expected from Romney. He can’t believe he has lost.
That did it. He can’t lose. Even if you take away Ohio and all the rest of the states and give them to Romney, Obama wins.

Bachmann and West are really in close races still. They really need to spend time getting serious help. Both of them have such issues that they really need help. But they will probably get jobs on FOX instead. I really wish BB would work on my hypothesis that their religiosity is really a display of serious mental illness. So…listened to the re-elect speech, delivered with force, but he must hold some sort of a record for the number of platitudes strung together at one podium. its the next day and now we must live with the better of 2 choices.
Here’s the latest I saw on West from a tv station down there:
US House District 18 — 303 of 306 precincts reporting (99%)
Allen West, GOP (i) [(R)] [I] 157,578 50%
Patrick Murphy, Dem [(D)] 159,959 50%
I bet the missing 1% is Palm Beach county. 😉
