Not sure who told you this is anthrax spores surrounding a red blood cell. It is not. It is a horribly mixed culture. Some of the colonies may be some type of Bacillus, but there are many different kinds of bacteria on this blood agar culture plate. This is either an environmental sample or the work of a really sloppy microbiologist.
