Whither our Middle Class?

This is a report from Russia’s 24/7 English broadcast station. Isn’t it ironic?





Watching this broke my heart. It made me think about my dad and all of the other WWII veterans as well as the non-military people who sacrificed at home during that time. They gave up so much, fighting for the American dream, and it’s all disappearing so quickly.
I love the implication of surprise that’s being communicated.

Thousands march on Wall Street to oppose New York City budget cuts
Several thousand protesters marched past Wall Street and New York City’s financial district late Thursday to protest Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s $600 million in budget cuts. These cutbacks will cripple social services as well as programs for youth and the elderly, close firehouses and eliminate over 6,000 teaching jobs in the public schools system….
