That map showing blue and red areas according to population shows a realistic perspective of US voters’ politics. I wish the media would use graphics like this which show the proportion of red and blue.
Now if only we had Senate representation according to a state’s population….
Where did you get that map JJ? I would really like to have one for reference.

I though Griffin’s tweet was idiotic. It was insulting and callous toward People living in Georgia. Of course Democrats need and want Georgia. Besides that, Georgia’s residents, especially POC, need Democrats in government instead of rich leeching Republicans.
However, Griffin did not say “it would be fine for Black Georgians and other Black folk impacted by the SENATE that it would be just fine if Herschel Walker, hand-picked stereotype, represented the state and its people.” Saying that Griffin did say that undercuts Clifton’s argument — if Clifton said one untrue thing, maybe we should question other things he says. Critiquing Clifton’s debating style doesn’t contradict my opinion that Griffin’s statement was thoughtless and callous.
Griffin actually is a good guy, but it was still wrong. It makes a big difference if Democrats have 51 seats. For one thing, it will make Sinema irrelevant. It will also affect committees.

Democrats still need Georgia because Raphael Warnock is a proven and dedicated public servant.
Absolutely. And can you imagine Walker speaking in the Senate? What an embarrassment that would be!
They need Warnock because (trying not to shout…, trying…, trying…) elections should find the BETTER candidate. This choice approaches the Dump vs Hillary Clinton levels of “Whaaaaat?”
