Good morning…cartoons via Cagle:

My dad drew this little thing:

I thought it was so funny.

I hope you have a good day, take it easy and this is an open thread.
You just knew it would get worse:
That’s insane! This monster must be stopped.
Was he auctioning the material off to the highest bidder? I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d be horrified, but not surprised.
Took the with him on foreign trips? ??? Whaaaat? Just in case he ran into a good sales opportunity, I guess?
That part is near the end of the article.
The only part of that which makes no sense is “He’d want to get work done on long trips….”
I recall how horrifying it was that he was so naive about why we couldn’t just “nuke” countries into submission. He was the absolute worst person in the country we could have entrusted our national defense to. And now people who risked their lives for our security are dead or compromised and even our allies can’t trust us. What an unbelievable mess.
You can say that again. And Republicans are still defending him.
“Deadname.” Kid, you didn’t die and come back to life again.
And that Florida regulation simply says no teaching about sexual orientation or the gender ideology “in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students.” No, I don’t like deSantis and hope the voters toss him out, but this bill isn’t the horror show that it’s made out to be. Doesn’t help our side when we lie about legislation.

It doesn’t do Dems any good and, worse, it lets Repubs posture as the “reality-based” community. “See? We’re the ones capable of noticing that sex exists.” (“Oh, and here’s all these nice comfy familiar gender straitjackets that go so well with it.”)
By letting them own the first half, we’re letting them get away with the second half pretty much without pushback.
Yep. But then leftist M/TRAs say a gold lame’ purse makes them a woman. So too many Democrats think stereotypes determine whether you’re a man or a women. Republicans think being a man or a women determines what stereotypes you do. Gender abolitionists say drop the stereotypes and wear what you want; you can’t change sex.
It dawned on me a few years ago that what made the TRA notion that the gold-lamé-makes-the-woman spread so fast is that it tells the old patriarchy it was right all along. Stereotypes for the win! (What tipped me off was Santorum and Iranian mullahs being just fine with it. That was a wait! what? moment.)
