Good morning, I’m so fucking sick about everything…that it has got me to the point of distraction. I’ve been watching shark TV…ugh!

If you are in or near Atlanta:

Now, I urge everyone to watch the video below, the full video is only 15 minutes… it is an important set of interviews with three trans families in Georgia.
Watch the full video here:
I hope this video opens people to the importance of inclusiveness to the emotional and mental health of these families.
Operation Save Abortion was a really good set of interviews and discussions on the post-Roe situation…I highly recommend you check out these videos and resources at the link below:
How about that heatwave?
And that’s all…this is an open thread.
The more people catch it, the more people there are where the virus can evolve new variants. The successful variants are the ones that spread more effectively. The more people catch it, the more the disease spreads.
The virus is under no pressure to become milder. Only to spread better.
And that’s all. That’s it. Those are the only things anyone needs to remember, and not a government on earth seems to have been able to. It’s all, “Let’s pretend we’re done because then we can eat out again.” /*endless screaming*/
Based on the facts, what we actually need is to stop transmission. Reduce the number of us petri dishes for the virus. And you do that by:
1) vaccinating everybody in weeks, not years, i.e. faster than the virus spreads.
2)public health measures: improving indoor air circulation and installing UVC germicidal lighting, masking, social distancing, testing and really self-isolating if positive with the social and financial support needed to make that a reality.
Costs money? Yes. Duh. Does it cost way less money than people getting sick with covid three or four times per year, some people dying, lots of people getting long covid and barely able to work? Yes. DUH.
(And that’s if all you care about is money. Talking to governments here. The costs of reducing transmission are just money vs infinite.)
(Am I mega-annoyed about this? You bet.)
Yes, yes, and yes again. This could have been prevented if only people were reasonable. Boggles my mind.
I’m sorry but to me, and it looks like to an increasing number of people, Garland is being a Legal Roomba. Following his own very effective program at cleaning crud off the carpet while the house burns down.
Letting treasonous seditionist kleptocrats continue to burn the country down while you carefully work your way up from the little people and follow the facts and do it right DOES NOT WORK WHEN THE WHOLE STRATEGY OF THE TREASON WEASELS IS TO RUN OUT THE LEGAL CLOCK.
(Gaaa. Sorry. I do try to stop shouting. Almost never works. If the Repubs gain the House in November, they’re going to throw so much sand in the gears that the clock will just bloody stop and then when (if?) we get a Repub prez in 2024, he’ll just pardon all the weasels. End of the beacon on aiming for equality and the rule of law that was the US Experiment.)
Yes, get it right and get it done before November!
I am so disgusted:
Fuck Kemp and all those goddamn Republicans
Whatever you call yourself, if you’re a man you can’t be pregnant. Only women can conceive and carry a pregnancy. If someone thinks she’s the opposite sex that doesn’t make it so. And if a female body makes a girl or woman dysphoric, why does she want to be pregnant? That’s one of the most female capabilities possible!
I see there’s no mention of the books left-wing fanatics want to ban — Schrier’s Irreversible Damage, Kathleen Stock’s Material Girls, Helen Joyce’s Trans, Rachel Rooney’s My Body is Me, and even the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling.
Overall Republicans are worse, but let’s be real that there are religious fantasies and banned books on both sides.
