So did growing up in the 70s, 60s, 50s. And if those born in the 90s and 00s bothered to think about, yes there was a chance of nuclear war then too.
We were terrified when I grew up in the 50s and 60s. In those days WWII wasn’t a distant memory. Haven’t these people even heard of the Cuban missile crisis? I remember when people were building bomb shelters.
JJ toons and tweets look fine to me! Thank you for the link to TCM schedule for March. I don’t get TCM through my cable (they want too much $$$$$$$$$$ for THAT package) but it looks like I can get it through HBO Max (TCM is a “hub” of HBO Max). Anyway I’ll be recording a lot this month.

I thought President Biden’s State of The Union Speech was extremely strong. Although we are not sending troops, we need to supply all the aid we can to Ukraine.
I got disgusted with the Republican response about 20 seconds in and turned it off. (We’re back in the 1970’s??? Well, we are pre-Roe v Wade, and that is so-1970, but that is former President Trump’s fault.)
