As a pro-choice pastor, I’ve always believed that a patient's room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government.

Georgia faces a nightmare combination of low vaccination rates, under-resourced hospitals, inadequate staffing and state inaction.

We are in this together – we must all do our part to save lives as our hospitals plead for help to lower COVID-19 spread.https://t.co/ZEyYnB6ddF
Across the nation, we are seeing a spate of laws criminalizing abortion, which disproportionately impact communities of color. As we mark the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must defend a woman’s right to choose & support orgs that protect the right to safe, legal abortions.
— Stacey Abrams (@staceyabrams) January 22, 2022
I can’t wait to vote for Stacey…
When it comes to a woman’s right to choose, this SCOTUS is wrong, TX is wrong, MS is wrong.Right-wing AntiVaxxers like Bannon or Taylor Greene love to say “my body my choice” when it comes to vaccines, yet they refuse to respect a women’s right to choose. They can all go to hell!

And as usual, this is an open thread.

The rest of y’all, stay safe.
Your cartoon collections are the best!
Let me guess, all members of the Georgia State Legislature?
I wouldn’t bet against a good ole boy area in southern Mississippi where I used to do field work. All the streets in the nearby hamlet were named Kermit. Kermit St, Kermit Ln, Kermit Rd, Kermit Ave, Kermit Dr. And the were all one family of local notables. Different Kermits. I asked the postmistress.
But I’ll bet they were doing a booming trade in banjos.
😆
