Wednesday Reads: Gag me with a tRump…

Let’s start with some cartoons:

And now for something completely different…

A thread that gives you a rundown on the hearings in Michigan regarding “Voter Fraud.”

Start here:

Nothing I can say will prepare you for the “testimonial” proof of voter fraud highlighted in that thread. Please continue to read more:

And if you doubt the voracity?

Is the fat lady starting to sing?

I don’t know if she is starting to sing, but this investigation is ongoing:

And don’t forget the Supremes:

Meanwhile, in Georgia:

Full remarks here:

The Georgia SOS still says he supports the Republicans running for US Senate in Georgia. How can he say this after he has called out all the intimidation and violence his family is experiencing…And that is where it counts. For all his “fury” he still is supportive of this tRumpian Republican Party.

A few odds and ends…

tRump is such an asshole…like, gag me with a spoon!

Maybe this can be a little light to hope for:

If only, right?

I talked to my son in law on thanksgiving. My Son in law is the same kind of radiology specialist as Atlas. Son in law basically said Atlas was the definitive researcher/authority on it. He also said that ever since Atlas went off the deep end for Trump that the on line areas where these doctors go to discuss things have lost total respect for Atlas and that he’s basically gone from god to laughing stock no one wants to see or talk to

(Having some trouble with antecedents 😦 Which he is which? Your SIL is the authority? Or Atlas? SIL didn’t go for the Dump?? Can’t have. You’re still speaking to him! Anyway, I need footnotes 😀 )

My Son in law always against Trump and is a Radiology fellow at U Dub Seattle and has a clinic in the area. Atlas was considered the leader in the field which is basically advanced applications of new MRI technologies in neurologic diseases and it’s especially related to brain stuff. Same as Son in law The folks in the field have various message boards and the topic is that Atlas has basically blown his credibility and likely his marketability anywhere serious now. He’ll be poison so no more professional meetings or presentations or papers published no matter what he does at Hoover.

(highly edited because I obviously didn’t have enough coffee in me during the first go at it)

Lordy. Comes as a complete shock to me that Atlas ever even really practiced medicine, to say nothing of being at the leading edge of anything, given how much of a covid cuckoo he’s been.

I guess this is what we get when the med schools are more interested in A’s for organic chemistry than future doctors with minds.

Very cool. We may even have some colleagues in common, (depending on the clinical applications he’s studying) from when I worked there. Most of the neuro specialty clinical-care folks are highly collegial, more so than in other parts of the country from what I hear. Laid-back region here, plus so many have studied at the UW or worked in departments there.

Great post and comments. It’s all too much, especially when I have to deal locally with a (Republican) county supervisor for my district who just sent out a video saying that since the county has been following Sacramento’s COVID-19 guidelines (except for him and others who constantly fight these or ignore them) and there is now an upsurge in cases, Sacramento owns this (I live in the So Cal desert area)!! Also, we have COVID-19 deniers here, MAGAs thrown in, though also, thank goodness, many wonderful conscientious folk who do great community service and most comply with guidelines.
