A friend sent this photo (L) of me with Vice President and Dr Biden. I was showing them #JohnLewis’ photo (R) with a code to scan and sign the digital condolence book. If you want to send a message of love and #GoodTrouble, visit https://t.co/zCznlhZyjy pic.twitter.com/kiWstT15Yk

Sitting U.S. Senator David Perdue's digital attack ad distorted my face to enlarge and extend my nose.
I'm Jewish.
This is the oldest, most obvious, least original anti-Semitic trope in history.
Senator, literally no one believes your excuses.https://t.co/PiA7P4O4M2

I'm so over living in a country were emotionally-stunted men dress up in costumes and take their disappointments and anger out on the rest of us. pic.twitter.com/WnWy9OuAUu

For example…this kidnapping:
NYC is taking after Portland – a trans femme protestor was pulled into an unmarked van at the Abolition Park protest – this was at 2nd Ave and 25th Street pic.twitter.com/1PDhSYuK9h

This is an open thread.
Hey JJ!! How are you doing? Gawd these are wretched times when the political cartoons are spot on and you can’t laugh and really try not to cry.
Xoxo
Hayes better be just as upset about the kidnappings of protestors in Portland as about a TiM New Yorker.
Wow. They must have tested him before he was supposed to get on AF1 with Dump. He was at the hearing with Barr and got close to him yesterday – neither wearing a mask.
Couldn’t happen to a more appropriate person.
This is pretty cool:

A vintage postcard identified the spot Van Gogh was painting on his last day. Seems a few things have been found by people quarantined and organizing their stuff.
It is cool! Thx for posting this!
Jeeesus. I didn’t know it wasn’t already banned in NZ. We have got sooooo far to go. You can measure it by how there isn’t even *recognition* of the crimes against women, let alone massive general demonstrations in the streets about it.
Thanks, JJ, for that beautiful photo of our Blue Ridge Mountains. I never knew what caused them to look blue. I wish I could visit the mountains now before the possibility of a lockdown, as Harvard researchers believe our “orange” state should be considering it as a next phase. Symptoms of anxiety and depression have tripled here and emergency room visits for opioid overdoses have increased 15%. The misery for our citizens made all the more dire because the Republican controlled legislature didn’t expand Medicaid. However, the federal CARES Act money is being diverted to mental health resources for the uninsured and the underinsured.
