So many horrid people in this world.
This is the body camera footage of Elijah's arrest. At 1:10:00 you can see him being injected with the ketamine. He was not struggling, he was not a threat, and he was terrified.https://t.co/tUzyBzwhia

This is an open thread. I can’t find any words.
It is just too fucking disturbing for words.
Hang in there JJ. Hope most of your move chores are behind you.
I’ve been soothing myself watching art restoration clips on YouTube. Baumgartner has some really good ones. That any museum would turn that over to an amateur is beyond me. Especially after that first one – which was sort of funny. But this Murillo? No no no no no NOOOO!
Seriously. No. *I* could do a better job. The idiot who did that must have been trying to make it “relevant” or some shit.
I’ve been AWOL today doing my homework for my home gardening class in the pouring rain. Trying hard to be an urban farmer with a sustainable food producing landscape in these times. Pulling strength from my fraternal Nana and all us Okies.
I’ve been AWOL with my nose buried in a book.
(Tangential, but my brain keeps hiccuping on ‘fraternal Nana.’ Taken literally, that would have to be a half-brother to be a different Nana from your own. Or do you mean it some other way? These are the sorts of things that keep me up at night 😆 )
