I want to start this post with something warm and cute, be sure to play the video…
Because the rest of the thread is fucking disturbing and disgusting as hell.
I take it you all are aware of the murder that took place in Minnesota?
No caption necessary… the photo says it all. #justiceforgeorgefloyd pic.twitter.com/WZXmBraU1B

The image is graphic, but you need to click on the tweet above to see the powerful statement in full.
A Black man in Minneapolis died hours after he was filmed being arrested. Police held him down with a knee to his neck, as he pleaded: "Please, I can't breathe."
Police say they were reporting to a "forgery in progress." The FBI is now investigating.

"Being Black in America should not be a death sentence."
Minneapolis' mayor called the arrest of #GeorgeFloyd "wrong on every level." Video shows an officer kneeling on Floyd's neck as he pleads for air. Soon after, he was dead.
The NAACP called it "state-sanctioned murder." pic.twitter.com/sODT8PAOwg

UPDATE: All 4 police officers involved in the arrest and death of #GeorgeFloyd have been fired, says the mayor. pic.twitter.com/P4kB4WuPWA

New video obtained by @JaredGoyette for the Washington Post shows George Floyd handcuffed, sitting on the ground, then walked across the street—still handcuffed—to the scene of where the original video was filmed. https://t.co/BpJTUk7KEp

You deserved your breath, your dignity, your life. Not to die in the street, murdered by a white cop’s knee on your neck. You deserve our tears, our prayers, our rage, our action. We must act – for you – and for all of those were no cameras are present. We must. #GeorgeFloyd pic.twitter.com/JeMNUtkXv6

George Floyd deserved better and his family deserves justice. His life mattered.
I'm grateful for the swift action in Minneapolis to fire the officers involved — they must be held responsible for their egregious actions. The FBI should conduct a thorough investigation. https://t.co/n1tdiUba0x

This protest is mostly about cops and their brutality. However, as someone who lived there, there’s a underside to “Minnesota Nice” (which in truth was a phrase coined/equally deployed to describe regional passive agressiveness) that is about maintaining white patriarchy.

A reminder that HALF of all police officers fired in Minnesota who appeal their cases end up getting their jobs back because their city’s police union contracts allow lawyers who nobody knows and nobody elected to unilaterally give them their jobs back. https://t.co/pV5X5zHZ9z

Eric Garner’s mother Gwen Carr issues a statement on a video apparently showing that George Floyd made the same dying declaration as her late son as a Minneapolis police officer pressed a knee on his neck:

CNN just had footage of cops spraying “dispersant” because people are protesting George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.
Where was that shit when throngs of armed white people marched on state capitols a few weeks ago?

The Minneapolis choking video is why the Amy Cooper video matters. Calling the police with a fabricated threat is an act of violence.

That is it…it’s all got me so pissed off.
What about you?
This could be something:
It’s the same guy, and check out the make whites great again hat.
I kinda doubt it. The guy at the Dump rally has a different hairline, different eyebrow line, different nose to rest-of-face proportions, looks like he has a somewhat different build.
I’ve been feeling like a zombie the past few days. I can’t watch TV. I think I’m in shock from the horror of the past nearly four years of the monster.
Exactly how I feel.
I’m emotionally and physically exhausted from it which is why I spent time watching if the Dragon was going to take off
Yes.
That seems odd. I’ve seen more black activists argue against Warren than against Klobuchar.
