It bothered me to…but he was calling Dr. Fauci by his first name too. It is being disrespectful to both Doctors.

That is so true…

So, with all this stressful mess going on, I’ve been killing time coloring…

I thought I would share this with you…it seems a lot of people are finding it soothing.

Happy Color App

Anyway, stay safe and as usual, this is an open thread.

So $2 Trillion for the economy, but not one cent for the poorest of the poor–people dependent on Social Security and SSI and poor families who don’t earn enough to pay taxes. I sure hope I don’t get sick, because I won’t be able to go to a doctor–no money for my high deductibles. Also no money to help me survive for the last couple of weeks of each month when I have almost no money left for food. Us old folks are just supposed to sicken and to save Wall Street and the ultra-rich.

The U.S. scored 83.5 and ranked No. 1 in five of six categories: prevention, early detection and reporting, rapid response and mitigation, sufficient and robust health system, and compliance with international norms.

It ranks 19th in overall risk environment and vulnerability to biological threats, a category that assesses political and security risk, socioeconomic resilience, the adequacy of infrastructure, environmental risks, and public health vulnerabilities that may inhibit a country’s ability to prevent or respond to an epidemic or pandemic.

The study reported on the U.S.’s preparedness, not on the denying, stalling, partisan-blaming. and delaying resources of this president.

Yes. We’ve got the resources and ability, and a bloated squalling criminally insane grifter squatting up top snarling any attempt at organization.

      • dakinikat says:

Hence, the 19th ranking in what’s probably the most important area …

ABC News reporting Prince Charles is positive.

But he’s an Old – so good on him for sacrificing! /s

The Waffle House index doesn’t mean much in this situation. Restaurants, as non-essential services, have been ordered closed in many areas, whether they had the resources to stay open or not. So all the Waffle Houses in a city would be closed but all the gas stations and drug stores in that same city would be open. This wouldn’t be the case in an earthquake or storm emergency.

Gawd- are you listening to this joker? I know I shouldn’t be. He has totally lost it- talking about seeing Romeo and Juliet at the Kennedy Center. Thinks they are still having shows there, but limiting them to 25 or 250 audience members. He has lost his rocker.
