New Orleans facing faster coronavirus spread than other cities
Mayor, Health Director call out people partying

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell Sunday announced new steps aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus.

“This is in fact a crisis,” Cantrell insisted. “We do not want to see the death toll escalate.”

Today’s actions came after the second death of a coronavirus patient in Louisiana. Cantrell said the latest fatality was a person who was a friend of hers.

“We are losing loved ones… we all have a role to play… social distancing is not a buzzword, it is a reality… it is a way to save lives.”

City Health Director Dr. Jennifer Avegno said the spread appears to be faster here than elsewhere.

“It appears the rate of infection is increasing here in New Orleans more than in other cities,” she explained. “The trend that we are seeing cannot be ignored.”

Over the weekend, the city of New Orleans broke up some large gatherings. One was at a bar where people were got together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Another was along Bourbon Street.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards Friday issued an order banning any gatherings of more then 250 people.

As of Sunday morning, Louisiana had 91 tests come back positive for COVID 19, with two of those people dying.

Cantrell noted, “The rate of cases… is continuing to rise.”

New Orleans is one of a handful of cities where the government is going to offer enhanced testing.

Even so, either one is heads above the Orange Outrage in office now. Both seem so normal in comparison. Biden committed to having a woman VP and putting an African American woman on the Supreme Court.

There is no bottom. Are you people seeing this news floating around about how the reason the Human Stains at the top refused WHO test kits?

Jared “The Dauphin” Kushner was setting up a testing company, because by Jan 10th it was clear to the stable but evil geniuses that massive testing would be necessary.

So they slowed things down so his company was up and running and could get all the money.

That’s they nixed the readily available WHO tests and let the virus get totally out of hand in the US.

Given the way their neurons work, they’re probably pleased because there will be even more need for Dear Jared’s tests.

    • NW Luna says:

Yep. Except it’s Jared’s brother Joshua. However, they’re all in the same grifting evil cabal circle.

      • quixote says:

And the other point I didn’t make clear enough, this is just a stupid squat on the panic of the moment: all it does is tell you where testing is being done.

And to make sure the Kushners’ little BS company wasn’t superfluous, they held up real testing for real people.
