Last night #BidenHaris2020 was trending on the Twitter…
Last week Bernie was the nominee and Democrats lost everything to Republicans. Or, Bernie won the Presidency and transformed the USA into a socialist state. Tonight, Biden-Kamala have won the Presidency. Awesome.

VP picks rarely help is the CW, but it's a wild card with historic candidacies. Kamala Harris would turn people out, and set her up to be the 47th POTUS. https://t.co/VyQQZVHzSL

I wonder if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are talking on the phone this evening. #BidenHarris2020 is trending at the very top. The voters are shouting out to @JoeBiden & @SenKamalaHarris!!
All those in favor of a #BidenHarris2020 ticket, say AYE!! https://t.co/fRVatXowge

Ya know, insulting southern black people because your preferred candidate didn’t win today is a tell.

For everyone who needs to hear this, white people should be a little less obnoxious about black people exercising rheir right to vote. It frankly is unseemly.#SCprimary2020

This is an open thread.
Notice which candidate got the “Income inequality” issue vote.
Did you see that a lot of the vote Bernie got was basically cross over republicans?
I can’t figure that out from this data. Where do you see it? Or do you mean that the Repubs mounted a real campaign to mess around with the Dem primary?
yes they did … the entry poll said 12% were republicans coming to polls to vote for bernie … it was called operation chaos
This is the WaPo article which has the info on all the other candidates and characteristics of the voters: https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/politics/exit-polls-2020-south-carolina-primary/ Not sure how well other than polling one can tell who’s Dem or R. The absentee ballot requests for white voters were double that of the previous election, whereas for black voters the increase was small. The white increase could indeed mean it’s from Rs.
I think the ‘economic inequality’ issue doesn’t really drive Bernie v non-Bernie voters that much. Maybe the voters are smart enough to know Bernie can’t deliver. For example, in ’16 the voters most concerned about the economy went for Hillary, not Trump, though that was the general, not a primary.
That graphic of the change in pollution over China — Whoa!
Good in one sense. Deeply disturbing for its short term implications for where the world economy is headed!
Some good news:
Some judges still understand the rule of law!
Elizabeth warren just raised 29 million for the Quarter and she’s running in second in both texas and california …
There’s definitely no way there’s a plurality and this might be convention strategy time …
just what I can see right now …
Excellent news! The more I see of him, the less I can stand him. Maybe now we’ll see less of him.
