The only people on this debate stage who have won every single election that they've been in are the women. We need a candidate who will excite all parts of the Democratic Party, bring everyone in, and give everyone a Democrat to believe in. That's my plan—and that is why I’m going to win. #DemDebate

Many tree species live for hundreds of years; others, including the sequoias, survive for thousands. Bristlecone trees, like those in California’s Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, can last almost indefinitely. For millennia, the bristlecones have remained resistant to fire, harsh weather and soil conditions, and insect threats. “I get a chill from standing next to something that’s been living in the same place for 5,000 years,” one scientist said. “We can’t begin to comprehend the mechanisms of birth and death on that scale.” Minute changes in the tree-ring record make bristlecones an exceptionally useful source of data about changing conditions on earth, and that data shows that the trees have also survived hot spells: in 4000 B.C., during the mid-Holocene period, the earth was about one degree Celsius warmer than it is today. But it is on track to get hotter than that. Can these ancient trees, which John Muir once described as “irrepressibly and extravagantly picturesque,” withstand climate change? What an idiot. Nobody runs their dishwasher ten times. Do these idiots enjoy being lied to? They know he’s full of shit. They must think it’s cute that he’s so out of touch.

Dishwashers save a LOT on water over hand-washing and do a much better job.

    Dynamite post, JJ! Pun intended.

  7. Virginia Holder says:

So dynamic indeed! Info that’s hard to wrap your head around the implications, comments incisive and inferences are some I’ve only spoken quietly about with no evidence. Particularly, this makes one wonder of Khashoggi’s death…….Epstein’s death….and Hyde, seriously, a landscaper/lobbyist? What are the chances he may literally, know where bodies are buried?

    • NW Luna says:

I seriously doubt Epstein’s death was a suicide. Too many anomalies. Even if guards didn’t check on him as often as they should, why get rid of the video recordings? Something was happening that people in power did not want known.

  8. NW Luna says:

Trump’s been lying about Afghanistan? No shit.

The special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction told Congress Wednesday that U.S. officials have routinely lied to the public during the 18-year war by exaggerating progress reports and inflating statistics to create a false appearance of success.

In addition, Sopko criticized the Trump administration for classifying information that shows the war is going badly, including data on Afghan troop casualties and assessments of the Taliban’s strength.

“When we talk about mendacity, when we talk about lying, it’s not just lying about a particular program. It’s lying by omissions,” he said. “It turns out that everything that is bad news has been classified for the last few years.”

well, this is a big boom … more proof there’s a Mob Boss occupying the White House …
