The Sky Dancing banner headline uses a snippet from a work by artist Tashi Mannox called 'Rainbow Study'. The work is described as a" study of typical Tibetan rainbow clouds, that feature in Thanka painting, temple decoration and silk brocades". dakinikat was immediately drawn to the image when trying to find stylized Tibetan Clouds to represent Sky Dancing. It is probably because Tashi's practice is similar to her own. His updated take on the clouds that fill the collection of traditional thankas is quite special.

Sky Dancing 
It is very windy in banjoville, the electricity has been misbehaving. Let’s hope our house stays tree free tonight. lol
Hope you feel better today JJ. It’s very windy here, too. At least the air will be clean.
Yesterday I spent over a $1,000 on a laundry list of electrical issues – old outlets, outdoor fixtures, etc. The poor guy who came was wonderful but after a while he was coughing and sneezing up a storm due to my cats. Poor guy – lol.
It is a wordy and a nifty athletic shoes as well.
My friends were all caught up again with how bad it is that the Circus Peanut in Chief said “Pussy”.
I tried to tell them that cuss words are the least of it, and they countered “He’s the President and words matter…”
“Of course they do, but,” I explained “if he says ‘Pussy’ in front of my granddaughter he gets the stink eye. If he grabs her by the pussy I am kicking his motherfucking ass. Secret Service be damned. As a black male I could be shot for less. I say totally worth it.”
In a just world, there’d be zero chance of you getting shot for something like that.
And even less that the Prez would be committing assault on anyone’s granddaughter.
Feels like there’s light years between us and that world, doesn’t it?
My daughter has it now. Luckily, she is a non-essential federal employee and is not having to take sick leave. Luckily???
I’m still coughing and going through Kleenex, although I’m not deathly ill anymore. This is the worst cold I’ve had in years.
What I had around Thanksgiving lasted over 2 weeks before it reduced down to an ordinary cold. Coughing can take yet another 2 to 3 weeks to resolve. There are some awfully severe colds going around in my area and it sounds similar everywhere else this winter.
Good article. I have sent emails to my congressman, urge everyone to do the same.
Congress can over rude any veto. Republican senators can put pressure in McConnell to get him to move but they have to be pressured by the voters.

McConnell has been part of the problem, he can have a sit down with Trump and explain the impact the shutdown is having on his constituents.
