Sunday Reads: WWWWD?

I don’t know, WWWWD?

She sure as shit wouldn’t be standing by, while tRump and his evil minions take down the United States….

It feels like we are living in some kind of bad Hollywood B-picture, the kind where all the really crappy disaster clips the studio has in their stock footage, are spliced together to illustrate just how bad the bad guys are…. I mean, out of nowhere…there is always a huge octopus monster attacking a building or bridge in that montage, right?

In our reality, tRump is the huge monster attacking our civil and human rights, along with American Democracy.

I haven’t been on my laptop in 4 days, yeah…since I wrote my last post for the blog. My cell hasn’t seen much action either. It has only been charged up once in those four days. Like Boston Boomer said in the comments recently, and I am just putting it into my own words here…avoidance is key to survival. Avoidance to news. Avoidance to tRump.

My form of avoidance has been movies and an occasional foray into the realm of Instagram.

Here, take a look at some of the things you can escape too:

There is also commentary and activism:

All the images and links above are from Instagram.

So, why do I bring all that up now. I don’t know, but today I could not bring myself to read anything in the news.

This is truly an open thread. If you can post any news items in the comments, that would be much appreciated.

Hey, I honestly could not post anything today, my mom is down in Florida this weekend. She went to say her final goodbyes to her sister and some family members. It was a spur of the moment trip. Anyway, if I can come back to comment I will, otherwise stay safe.

“…the interests of formula manufacturers…” For Trump, that’s so much more important than the infants themselves. He’s made the U.S. into a despised nation.

“Concerns.” Ah, we can put those in the same wastebasket as “Thoughts and Prayers.”
