On the gun control fight….

Who is Dana Loesch? The NRA’s defender after the Florida shooting | US news | The Guardian

But as students who survived the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school in Florida last week continue to speak out publicly against the NRA’s “blood money,” the gun-rights group has announced that it will send spokeswoman Dana Loesch to participate in Wednesday’s CNN town hall conversation with Parkland shooting survivors.

The move comes as the NRA appears to be attempting to dial down attention to the speech that longtime leader Wayne LaPierre is scheduled to give at CPAC later this week. Instead it is putting Loesch in the spotlight.

Florida school shooting: Survivors confront lawmakers, other students march in solidarity – CNN

Just one week after surviving a massacre that killed 17 people, grieving students confronted Florida lawmakers Wednesday to demand a ban on assault weapons.

As they took up their fight in Tallahassee, students from Palm Beach to Washington walked out in solidarity — disgusted by yet another school massacre with no change in gun laws.

Here is something of interest, it is the National Rifle Association – Member Discount List   this links to the state of Georgia…however, if you go to the page you can search for your own state’s discount list. Funny…one of the lawyers I used to work for is on the Georgia list. He used to tell me all the time, he was a “Christian” first. Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

    Hooray for the U.S.A.!

We are number 1 in the world for mass shootings!!

    Are we great or what?

  2. bostonboomer says:

Thanks, JJ. I like the “Trail of Tears 2018” cartoon best. Simple and to the point.

  3. NW Luna says:

JJ, all the cartoons are very good. I think the bulletproof wall is my favorite so far.

Democrats are crippling America’s response to Russian interference

…the indictment shows evidence of a lack of collusion. “Some Defendants, posing as U.S. persons and without revealing their Russian association, communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign . . . to coordinate political activities,” the indictment reads. If these Russians were colluding with the Trump campaign, there would be no reason to hide their true identities from multiple campaign officials.

Moreover, the indictment states that the Russian effort began in 2014, a year before Donald Trump declared his intention to run for president. No one, left or right or center, took Trump seriously as a candidate when he declared in 2015. The idea that the Russians saw what all of us didn’t — that Trump had a serious shot at winning the White House — and figured this out way back in 2014, before Trump even declared his candidacy, is absurd.

This is a grave threat. Republicans and Democrats should be working together in bipartisan way to confront it. So why is this not happening? Because Democrats have politicized the issue, weaponizing the Russia inquiry in an effort to delegitimize Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton with these unfounded collusion charges.

This is a howlingly sophomoric attempt at gaslighting. It’s so full of bullshit it stinks right off the digital edition and through my laptop screen. What’s so horribly lolsob about it is the number of deplorables who believe it.

It is becoming glaringly obvious that the press wants to keep the chaos going, and so keeps stirring the pot, trying to “both sides” every criminal, immoral act performed by one side only. They make money off of divisiveness. They profit from destruction and decay. They are not a “liberal” press, nor are they particularly conservative, except insofar as they make their sacrificial offerings at the same altar as the conservatives do: the Great God Mammon.

The author of that op-ed is a Trump supporter. He’s not a journalist.

      • NW Luna says:

Obviously a Trump deplorable. Sure isn’t a journalist. Shame on the Post for publishing him.

        • Sweet Sue says:

We all know that our Media will never admit to complicity but Jake Tapper, Chris Cillizza, Andrea Mitchell and the Mega conglomerates they work for are largely responsible for installing that unspeakable man in the-our-White House.

          • RonStill4Hills says:

The MSM knowingly sabotaged Hills at every turn. They colluded with all the other Hillary haters. It is a damned shame.

They continued to do it. They walk the tricky tight rope of sensationalizing the Rolling debacle of Hurricane Trump while trying to maintain that Hills would have been as bad or worse.

            It is disgusting.
