Wednesday Reads: Save me from the ruddy necks.

Hack. Cough. Ugh.

Sorry this is late, but errands…and pressing matters kept me from posting this earlier.

Out and about this morning, the Banjoville populi (is that correct?) was out in force. So many camo ball caps, confederate flags and Trump signs…so little time.

But enough of the generalizing, lets get on with the cartoons, because that is all we have strength for after the last night’s debate.

    Have a good evening.

  2. janicen says:

These are fun, thank you JJ. I’m not in the mood for anything serious today. Last night was exhausting. It’s unbelievable that people are saying that Pence was setting up his 2020 run. How? By telling lie after lie after lie? Apparently so. Apparently that’s okay as long as you don’t act like you are angry. Politics and the media in this country is batshit crazy.

    • Enheduanna says:

Hey Janicen – I know right? The pundits wanted to give it to Pence on style alone – because he didn’t interrupt? It was a debate FFS. GAH

      • quixote says:

But when Hillary did way less interrupting of The Donald than he did of her, they barely noticed. Tried to talk about his slightly coherent memorized sentences on trade as showing presnidentialnamism.

Funny how that works. By which I mean not funny.

    • teele says:

Pence needs to be looking at 2020 on the national level, because he has no future in Indiana. He is extremely unpopular there, and they were thrilled to see the back of him as he headed off to Donnieville. You can’t hear that on national news, because, like Donald’s son, the newsreaders don’t know Indiana from Illinois from Iowa. It’s a state somewhere in the unmapped middle of Newyorkifornia.

  3. Enheduanna says:

JJ – I especially like the cartoon that implies the Deplorables probably can’t find the polls – hahaha. I was thinking that exact thing. They’re all bluster and incapable of planning ahead. I’m from Hooterville – just a couple of counties south of you and I know these types, too. They’ll have a hangover or a flat tire, or decide it’s hopeless anyway.

    • Enheduanna says:

P.S. I also think Trump may not want the job deep down although he got close enough in the polls to get greedy anyway. So those toons hit close to the truth as well (IMO).

  4. NW Luna says:

    Great comics, JJ.

Oh, that last one….the he-menz wimmin-haters club. Too damn true. Wish those women would Wake Up!
