I think that cartoon illustrates Trump’s sacrifices perfectly.

It has been a little while since we had a cartoon post…and several of these are spot on.

Got any flaming oil spills cartoons? The republicans are comparing him to one. Hahaha.

  2. Fannie says:

Going with the Zika cartoon this morning. Pres. Obama submitted the bill for Zika funding back in June. The republicans decided to put all kinds of measures into the bill, like stealing money from Obamacare (800 million), and more restrictive measures for Planned Parenthood (thank you Marsha Blackburn, the church bandit), plus shortage the president request for more money. They also included a measure that would allow confederate flags at our veterans cemeteries. Thank God the democrats said hell no. Marco Rubio is out today calling President Obama, when he should have been calling the friggin republicans. I say today it’s time to bite back, and sting the crap out of their summer vacation. Get their asses back to work, and force them to deal with the Zika crisis.

I needed this cartoon post today. Things are getting really scary in this election and a little humor helps.

    Fantastic cartoons! Thanks..

    From our previous discussion thread:

    • bostonboomer says:

I watched that this morning. The looks on the rest of the panel’s faces when Scarborough said that Trump couldn’t understand why we couldn’t use nukes: priceless. And btw, how long has Scarborough known about this?

      • janicen says:

Excellent question,bb. Also, did you notice how Joe was trying to make the Trump candidacy out to be part of a Clinton conspiracy against the Republican party? He kept saying it and then saying, “I’m not a conspiracy buff but if one were, one might wonder about how Bill Clinton, blah blah blah.” Scarborough is an asshole.

        • Fannie says:

I don’t know how long Scarborough has known about this either. WTH. Am I right, he asked three times within an hour, if we have them why can’t we use them?

I can’t stand snot in the morning either, a real ashol.

      • Ron4Hills says:

They would not cop to it now, I am sure, but I used to watch the show everyday. Joe and Mika were major boosters. They gave him more airtime and more promotion than anyone. They couched it in language that they can claim was just reporting not promoting, they talked down every other candidate and basically said, “We don’t like it but Trump is better than any of them…”

If he knew this and withheld it while people were still voting that is journalistic malpractice.

        • janicen says:

Oh yeah, remember when the mic was left on while they thought they were not on air? Mika and Joe were assuring Trump that they were not going to ask him any tough questions. They were shamelessly sucking up to him during the primary election.

  6. Enheduanna says:

    Well at least there’s this:

Reince Priebus is so livid Trump won’t endorse Ryan and McCain he’s going to have an “intervention”.

Or apparently that was the final straw – not the racism, misogyny, plagiarism, incompetence and whackadoodle policies. No the endorsements….

    • Ron4Hills says:

Kristen Soltis Anderson commented this morning that many GOPs are stuck for precisely that reason. They haven’t dumped Trump for his previous egregious behavior, and now that he is blowing the election they will look bad to break with him over politics but not over principle.

      • Enheduanna says:

Yes! I’ve been seeing similar analyses. Do you think Obama’s calling out the Republican leadership has put them in a bind as well? That looks like some fancy gamesmanship to me! Score Obama!!

        • Joanelle says:

Obama should focus on supporting Hillary not Commenting on her opponent, not gamesmanship, it’s sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong and that goes for other Dem leaders (including Billion) this is Hillary’s campaign. She’s a big girl and can handle herself quite well, thank you.

  7. janicen says:

Wasn’t Trump bragging that he brought in 38 million $ in July and that it was “unprecedented” for the Republican party? People were laughing because Mittens raised over 100 million $ in July when he ran. Now we’re seeing these stories that Trump raised over 80 Million $ in July, and nobody seems to be questioning this at all.

    • janicen says:

Oh yeah, and it’s because of a sudden flood of small donations from individual donors. Wow, just like the Sanders campaign. What a coincidence.

  8. pdgrey says:

Because this is Fl. this inhumane asshole will get away with this. I am so sad.
