The Sky Dancing banner headline uses a snippet from a work by artist Tashi Mannox called 'Rainbow Study'. The work is described as a" study of typical Tibetan rainbow clouds, that feature in Thanka painting, temple decoration and silk brocades". dakinikat was immediately drawn to the image when trying to find stylized Tibetan Clouds to represent Sky Dancing. It is probably because Tashi's practice is similar to her own. His updated take on the clouds that fill the collection of traditional thankas is quite special.

We have a huge line of weather coming our way, those of you that have already been hit…take care and be careful…and meanwhile..I will go back to waiting for Bebe to come home from her date/uh not date/ with a damn good looking boy. Or as my mom says a fine specimen.
I hope you don’t get any tornadoes! Luckovich is always outstanding.

The power has gone out twice already. That was the first round. Yeah you can see the spinning from what must be tornadoes all up and down that storm system.
