  1. Busy evening tonight. Hope everyone is doing well, Damn, I really need to catch up!

  2. I haven’t read any news in the past three days, and when I do this is what I see: Fox Business host: Preschool is just Obama ‘handing out goodies’ to the poor | The Raw Story

    Assholes…

  3. NW Luna says:

    Love the cartoons!

I want to see Sheriff Warren haul those Wall Street Banks to prison. Wonder if she’ll get any help from other Senators.

    • RalphB says:

That’s scary but I read where the radiation hasn’t risen. Huh?

      • Fredster says:

        yeah that’s strange:

Monitoring wells near the tank have not detected higher radiation levels, but Inslee said the leak could be in the range of 150 gallons to 300 gallons over the course of a year and poses a potential long-term threat to groundwater and rivers.

I’m not a scientist, don’t play one on tv nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night but that’s just freaking weird that it’s leaking and the radiation level has not gone up.

  4. Fredster says:

Geez, my internet connection tonight is sooo slow I think maybe it’s a hint to shut it down and read a book instead.

  5. RalphB says:

Tiger Beat reports that for the last few days GOP leaders “have met behind closed doors to both craft an agenda that confronts the ghosts of Congresses past and figure out a way to sell it to the American people.”

There is agreement on sanding down “the party’s rough edges” and to stop talking “like the world is going to end.”

But the GOP leadership “has become increasingly alarmed at how many lawmakers in the meeting think the party has a messaging problem, not a policy problem.

    Heh!

  6. RalphB says:

I missed this yesterday. Obama really owes James Carter!

Tiger Beat: Obama meets 47% video guy

DECATUR, Ga. — President Obama on Thursday met the man who made “47 percent” part of Mitt Romney’s legacy.

Obama and opposition researcher James Carter, who released the infamous Romney fundraiser video, met backstage before Obama’s education event here, Carter’s cousin, Georgia state Sen. Jason Carter, told POLITICO.

Upon being introduced and told of James Carter’s role in the 47 percent video, Obama jumped forward to embrace him.

“Thank you, thank you so much,” Obama told James Carter, his cousin said.

Both Carters are grandsons of former President Jimmy Carter.
