President Obama Wins Reelection, but Romney Won’t Concede Ohio Yet

MSNBC is reporting that although every network has called Ohio for Obama, the Romney campaign refuses to concede that they have lost Ohio. Chris Matthews just said that Donald Trump is calling for revolution. I hate to think about the craziness we are going to see from Republicans in the days ahead. But thank goodness the danger of a Romney presidency is over.

Here’s a fresh thread to discuss what’s happening.

It’s obvious. Reality must be wrong.

    Bwhahahaha!

    Worth staying up for, mablue?

  4. bostonboomer says:

Fox News personalities are refusing to accept their own network’s call of Obama as the winner.

  6. bostonboomer says:

Obama is probably going to win Florida, and then Romney will have to concede.

  7. ecocatwoman says:

I don’t think this is surprising. I just hope the Ohio call isn’t like the early call of Florida, that changed several times until the networks finally threw in the towel. I don’t think Romney will be giving a concession speech until tomorrow at the earliest. I kinda think this was inevitable. Why would we expect this to be easy, for the Mittens Torturemobile to grind to a stop now? We do, after all, still have some blood left in our veins.

MIchael Tomasky calls it a Thrashing. Obama may win by 100 electoral votes

    • ecocatwoman says:

MSNBC is saying the same – even Steve Schmidt. They expect to add Nevada & there are still Florida & Virginia to weigh in on this. If Obama solidly gets those, Ohio won’t matter.

  12. bostonboomer says:

    Obama just won Colorado.

Josh Marshall on Rove’s Fox election mutiny. Really pathetic and funny.

    For the Ages

    • RalphB says:

As this was happening the other electoral votes were piling up to the point where Ohio didn’t even matter anymore. At this point Rove seems to still be working on founding the Ohio Truth movement. So I’m not sure where this is going to go. We’ll try to get you a full read out on this shortly.

What happened to “Democrats for Romney”???

I thought all those pseudo I-was-a-Liberal-until-Obama-came-along were going to give the election to Romney.

Oh and btw, Nate Silver. Sam Wang, Drew Linzer and other number crunchers extraordinaire are all thin people with small voices and are gay homosexual :-)

So…listened to the re-elect speech, delivered with force, but he must hold some sort of a record for the number of platitudes strung together at one podium. its the next day and now we must live with the better of 2 choices.

Here’s the latest I saw on West from a tv station down there:

    US House District 18 — 303 of 306 precincts reporting (99%)
    Allen West, GOP (i) [(R)] [I] 157,578 50%
    Patrick Murphy, Dem [(D)] 159,959 50%

I bet the missing 1% is Palm Beach county. ;-)

  27. RalphB says:

This election obviously oversampled Democrats :-)
